Irene believes no family should be caught off guard by something they simply did not know. As an independent financial professional licensed in Texas, she helps families protect what they have, get out of debt and build for the future.
That belief comes from years as a social worker. With a master’s degree from Grambling State University, she has sat with families in hospice care and nursing homes on the hardest days of their lives. She watched too many of them face a crisis with only the small policy from their job. “So many families are sitting on gold mines and don’t even know it,” she says. “My job is to create awareness.”
Her own family showed her the other side. When her younger sister lost her husband, a pharmacist, the life insurance he had put in place carried her and their two children through. Today her sister helps other families in this industry, as do Irene’s two older sisters.
Irene also knows hardship firsthand. As a single mother raising a daughter with special needs who uses a wheelchair, she has faced an empty bank account, a lost job and bills she could not cover. When her first insurance license lapsed under that load, she did not quit. She studied again and came back licensed in both life and health. “Failure is not the final sentence,” she says. “Every setback is a stepping stone.”
That is why the families she meets trust her with their real worries:

- a job that offers only a small policy, if any
- a business that would not survive if the owner fell ill
- a retirement no one has planned for yet
- one income stream, and no idea a state license could build a second one, part-time or full-time
Irene listens first and explains every option plainly. Then she builds a clear, step-by-step strategy with each family to protect, get out of debt and grow. Life and health insurance are two of her protection tools, not the whole plan. Because she is independent, she compares many providers and recommends what fits best. She works with nurses, caregivers, single parents, business owners and middle-class families, one family at a time. Her mission, in her words, is “fortifying families by empowering them and educating them.”
Originally from Bamenda, Cameroon, Irene is the third of nine children. She speaks English and French, with some German and Spanish.
Irene is grateful to Almighty God, who sends “destiny helpers” along the way. She also thanks her father, Mr. Che Barnabas Moa, and her mother, Mommy Margaret B.; her elder sister, Mabel Chetuma; and all her other siblings: Nadine Che, Juvet Ngwatazoph, Sirri Mah Rufina, Athe Mel A, Ngumsoh Noella, Che Felicia Tawah and Che Fon Celinous. As she says, behind every person are other people.
